Everything about Kristin + Kyle’s French House wedding defined classic elegance thanks, in part, to Kristin’s romantic style. The weekend brought rain showers to Cincinnati, but their vendor team pulled off the outdoor affair of the couple’s dreams. The ceremony took place in the gorgeous sunken garden, adjacent to the historic French House. The setting felt extra special as summer neared its end here in Cincinnati, but the grounds were still showing off gorgeous blooms.
Kristin and Kyle’s wedding day began with the couple getting ready with their friends in their respective suites inside the home. The rain stopped just in time for the couple to share an intimate first look. The wedding party and families joined them for photos, then everyone was tucked away watching guests arrive. One of my favorite parts of the French House wedding venue is all the gorgeous spaces for photos! The grand staircase never fails to amaze me.
As the couple recessed down the aisle, the sprinkle of rain began again. Guests made their way inside to enjoy a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres. I loved how the couple embraced the garden-like setting of the park. It was so much fun leaning into these details throughout the design of their day. The reception itself took place under the grand garden tent, where Kristin, Kyle and their guests danced the night (and summer) away.
